PRISM Mini

The snapshot.

A free 10-minute diagnostic that tells you what is really going on between your people and AI: which of five forces is holding adoption back, and how differently the answer looks depending on where someone sits.

What it is

Not whether people opened the tool. Whether they trust it.

Most organisations know their AI adoption is lower than it should be. Far fewer know why. PRISM Mini answers that question by measuring what is happening in people’s heads rather than what is showing up in the usage dashboard: whether they believe AI will genuinely help them, whether their line manager is quietly making it harder, whether anxiety is running underneath a surface of compliance.

It is built on a psychometrically enabled framework developed for the AI adoption context, drawing on two decades of research into how people accept new technology at work and two years of study into what AI specifically does to a workforce. The questions are not an opinion poll.

When Mini is the right call

Adoption has stalled. The tools are live, the training landed, and the same small group uses them while everyone else finds a workaround.

You are about to deploy. You want to know where the resistance will come from before you commit the budget, not twelve months afterwards.

You want a baseline. Run it, act on it, run it again, and whether it worked becomes a matter of evidence.

Three lenses, one picture

Your organisation gives three different answers.

Every result is segmented by role level, because the same organisation looks very different depending on where you are standing inside it. The gaps between the three groups are usually more revealing than the scores themselves. Switch between them and watch the shape move; the dashed outline is the organisation-wide average, which is the mean of all three and looks like none of them. See what each C covers →

Five C’s profile for the selected role level, against the whole-workforce average

Concern runs the other way: on that axis, a lower score is better. An illustrative profile, not a client’s scores.

How it works

10 minutes from your people. Nothing else.

The diagnostic runs as an online survey. No preparation from participants, no facilitation on the day, no workshop to schedule.

1. Scope

A short call to agree who is in scope, including the people who are not at a desk, how the survey reaches them (a link on a phone is enough) and what your role levels are called internally.

2. Field

Your people answer 10 minutes of structured questions about their working day, framed around real situations rather than abstract attitudes.

3. Report and readout

A written report within five working days of close, then a 60-minute session where we walk you through it.

Responses are anonymised and aggregated before anyone at uptakeAI sees them, processed under a standard data processing agreement and held in line with UK GDPR. In exchange for the diagnostic at no cost, we ask that your anonymised results can join our AI readiness benchmark, which grows with every organisation that takes part. You are never identifiable.

Mini or the full PRISM?

The honest difference.

Mini and the full PRISM are built on the same framework and the same validated measures. The difference is the size of the question pool. Mini asks a focused selection, which is what makes it quick to run across an entire workforce and quick to read back. Mini is the snapshot: a real Five C’s profile and a plan you can act on, free. It is the right read for a first programme, a team, or a decision you can revisit. When the decision is transformation-scale and being wrong is expensive, the full PRISM adds the interviews and the resolution to bet on. We will always tell you which one the decision in front of you actually needs.

Mini gives you

A validated read across the Five C’s, segmented by role level, with a plain-language interpretation and a prioritised plan you can act on. Free, and back with you within five working days of the survey closing.

The full PRISM adds

Depth. The complete question pool, leadership interviews and combined qualitative analysis, resolving to the single binding constraint and the evidence to defend it at board level. See the full diagnostic →
